Abstract
The present study was carried out to examine the socio economic condition of the respondents in the ward-7 of Trishal Paurashava under Mymensingh district during June to July, 2013. Here primary data are collected through questionnaire method. Among the respondents 10 household are selected as sample. About 70% villagers are illiterate and 20% are involved with agriculture. About 70% families have half-building house, While 10% and 20% families have building and tin shed house respectively. And average per household income is 283500Tk. Here we examine that some of socio economic factors was significantly influence over the income of the family. This study suggests that by increasing income socio economic condition can be improved of this area.

Background of the study:
Bangladesh, a country located in the south-east Asian region, inhabits above 160 million people in 55.598 sq. mile. And Bangladesh is one of the least developed countries, remains a poor, overpopulated, and inefficiently governed national. But in the post-independent period has witnessed significant changes in socio economic conditions of people due to income growth, development of infrastructural facilities, urbanization, etc. but in some cases socio economic condition is not so satisfactory. We study about the socio economic condition of Trishal paurashava(ward-7) under Mymensingh district. The total population of this area (ward-7) is 2442 where a total area is 3 sq/km and density is 814/sq km. the study reveals that socio economic condition of the respondents is influenced by many factors ,say, age, family size, land holding, education, income expenditure, health status, etc. Here illiteracy rate is 36.3%, but highly educated person is very limited which is not good. In this circumstances, it is necessary to improve education facilities to improve income and finally to improve socio economic condition of the study area (ward-7).

Objective of the study:
The main objective of the study is to identify the present socio economic condition of Trishal Paurashava (ward no-7). The specific objectives of the study are To determine the factors affecting socio economic condition of the study area.  To conduct the comparative analysis of socio economic condition of study area with respect to Bangladesh.

 To provide the recommendations for improving the socio economic condition.

Methodology of the study:
In order to collect data from the respondents to fulfill the objectives of the study we have followed survey method. We have collected primary data through questionnaire method. Data are collected about socio economic condition from June to July, 2013 in ward-7, Trishal Paurashava. We also use secondary data through different journal, newspaper, article, research paper, web pages, etc.

In this study, we select ward-7 in Trishal Paurashava. This area is selected as a model of Bangladesh. Now we have to examine the socio economic condition of Trishal Paurashava. So, we have to analyze different socio economic...
